Sirish Rao Vattam

Sirish Rao Vattam, CEO and Founder of Vanguard Supply Chain Solutions, is a seasoned transportation and technology executive with over eleven years of global experience managing teams in planning, implementing, and launching solutions across multiple industries. In his prior role as President of Global Operations for a preclinical transportation firm, Sirish grew the company organically and drove meaningful initiatives that created sustained success. Sirish's career has included executive management and operational roles with leading software, finance, life science, healthcare and transportation companies.  At Davita, Sirish was General Manager with a $60M plus P&L  responsibility and managed a large team of over 250 with responsibility for local strategy, acquisitions/partnerships, and execution. In his role as the Global Head of Transportation & Logistics at Taconic Biosciences, Sirish made significant contributions in overhauling Taconic's existing global transportation and delivery network thereby making impactful improvements in efficiencies that increased the bottom line. With his global managerial experience driving cross-functional strategic projects and deep technology and supply chain experience, Sirish is well positioned to lead and successfully grow Vanguard Supply Chain Solutions.

Scott Schulz
Chief Administrative Officer​

With over 30 years of Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical operations experience Scott Schulz serves as the Chief Administrative Officer and Strategic Advisor to the Board of Directors for Vanguard Supply Chain Solutions. Scott’s experience includes positions as Sr Vice President of Operations at Pharmacal Health and Wellness Solution, Vice President of Operations at Envigo, and Vice President of Operations at Taconic Biosciences. In these roles Scott leveraged his experience with both domestic and international multi-site operations for planning and achieving annual corporate performance targets and building cultures of continuous improvement while maintain corporate cultures and focus on quality products and services. Scott’s extensive operations experience also includes heading up aseptic manufacturing operations to produce pharmaceutical and biologic products at Cardinal Health and Baxter Healthcare Corporation.

Michael B. Noble

As Contract Chief Financial Officer, Michael B. Noble brings the depth and breadth of his experience over the past 37 years to Team Vanguard. Mike is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant and is the Principal in his public accounting firm, with two offices in Northwest Virginia that serve over 3,000 clients across 40 states and 14 countries. Equally important, he has either served in the CFO role directly or as a contractor for a wide variety of for-profit entities in numerous industries, including Trucking & Transport, Commuter Vanpools, Green Energy Technologies, High-Michael Noble end Multi-state Construction, Wholesale Lending, and International Event Management, to name a few, leading two of these entities from start-up to buy-outs by some of the Nation’s largest privately held companies.  In addition, in the non-profit sector Mike has financially led a $70 million National charity to 15 consecutive years of Charity Navigator 4-star ratings for Financial Performance, Accountability and Transparency. Mike has a BA in Economics from Davidson College, and MBA in Organizational Management from Syracuse University and additional graduate and post-graduate studies at the University of Virginia. Mike has and continues to serve on numerous for-profit and non-profit Boards and is a Community Leader in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

Eric Carter Martin

Eric Carter Martin is the Vice President, of Operations & Logistics Strategy at Team Vanguard. Eric heads up the North American transportation and warehouse operations while advising Vanguard’s board on strategic logistical solutions. Eric has more than 15 years of operations management experience with a long track record of evaluating and improving systemic processes to develop underperforming teams and improve their overall business metrics. In the retail sector, Eric has managed teams for big box brands Wal Mart, K Mart and Pilot/Flying J, managing teams of over 100 people and P&Ls of $50 million plus. In the logistics field, Eric has directed teams for Pre-clinical transportation, overseeing time sensitive, temperature-controlled deliveries across 48 states domestically and international shipments to North America, Europe and Asia. In his current role, Eric has ensured multiple business units work seamlessly to provide maximum benefit for internal and external stakeholders. Prior to joining Vanguard, Eric has worked for Merit Logistics, managing teams providing comprehensive third-party logistical support to a 500,000 square foot major retail warehouse. Eric is married and in his personal time, enjoys cooking, landscaping and gardening.
