David T. Hansen

As Chairman of the Board, and Co-Founder for Vanguard Supply Chain Solutions, David T. Hansen provides global, strategic and financial leadership expertise. In his former executive role as President of Taconic Biosciences, NY, between 2008-2014, David led the Research Models & Solutions division, a $100M business, where he oversaw all global manufacturing sites, supply chain and Taconic’s emerging market strategy. From 1995-2008, he held various leadership roles at Novo Nordisk (pharma) in general management, finance and business development positions. David has extensive experience across banking and hedge funds and is Co-founder and Chairman of the NetDania Group. David will be responsible for the company’s financial stewardship and working with the investor community. He currently serves as CEO of Origio A/S, a company owned by The Cooper Companies (NYSE: COO) where he is also President of CooperSurgical´s global Fertility and Genomics business.  David has a degree in Economics, Politics and Social Science from Roskilde University, Denmark, and E-MBA from California State University, East Bay, USA. “Vanguard Supply Chain Solutions is writing the next chapter in redesigning supply chain processes for life science research. Tom Nida

With a banking career spanning over 50 years, Tom Nida currently serves as Executive Vice President/Market Executive for CFBank Corporation and  its primary subsidiary, City First Bank of DC.  Tom has been very active in community development finance, with a long term focus on the charter school movement in Washington, DC.  He has served on the boards of several DC charter schools and in 2003, he was appointed to the DC Public Charter School Board by Mayor Anthony Williams: Tom served as Board Chair from 2004 to 2010.  Tom has served as Board Chair of Charter Schools Development Corporation since 2010, and also currently serves on the boards of the DC Students Construction Trades Foundation and Rocketship Public Charter School.  He currently serves as an advisor to the Boards of the DC Association of Chartered Public Schools and of The Mary Elizabeth House.  Past board memberships include the Washington DC Economic Partnership and The Greater Washington Board of Trade.  In addition to his extensive commercial lending experience, since 1981 Tom has founded and managed several land trusts focused on renovations of historic commercial properties.  Tom has been a guest lecturer at the business schools of The University of Maryland and Georgetown University, and has had a number of articles published in The RMA Journal over the past 18 years.  Tom is a graduate of the School of Bank Administration at the University of Wisconsin and completed an Executive Program at the University of Virginia.

Dr. Eva Sharma

Dr. Eva Sharma is a Senior Study Director in Westat’s Behavioral Health Group with more than 10 years of experience in tobacco control and tobacco regulatory science research. Dr. Sharma has a  Ph.D., in Behavioral and Public Health, from the University of Maryland School of Public Health, Masters in Public Health from Univ of Maryland School of Public Health, and Bachelor's in Pharmacy from Nepal.

Mikkel Falling

With more than 20 years in the Supply Chain industry, Mikkel Falling is a result oriented business leader with experience in Executive Management, Strategy, Sales/Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and Business Development and Improvement. Mikkel has solid experience in general management, advisory, and people/organizational development leading to strong profitability and growth. Mikkel brings significant international leadership experience with management experience from Europe and North America as well as multicultural organizational experience with customers, suppliers and partners across the globe.  As Western European Regional Account Director for ISS A/S, Mikkel currently manages a team of 2,000 employees across 14 countries. Previously, Mikkel has served as the Vice President for Business Strategy, Execution, Finance and Administration for Taconic Biosciences, and the Chief Operating Officer for Pelliconi Scandinavia A/S. Mikkel has an Executive MBA from the Copenhagen Business School and is married with two children.

Sirish Rao Vattam

Sirish Rao Vattam, CEO and Founder of Vanguard Supply Chain Solutions, is a seasoned transportation and technology executive with over eleven years of global experience managing teams in planning, implementing, and launching solutions across multiple industries. In his prior role as President of Global Operations for a preclinical transportation firm, Sirish grew the company organically and drove  meaningful initiatives that created sustained success. Sirish's career has included executive management and operational roles with leading software, finance, life science, healthcare and transportation companies.  At Davita, Sirish was General Manager with a $60M plus P&L  responsibility and managed a large team of over 250 with responsibility for local strategy, acquisitions/partnerships, and execution. In his role as the Global Head of Transportation & Logistics at Taconic Biosciences, Sirish made significant contributions in overhauling Taconic's existing global transportation and delivery network thereby making impactful improvements in efficiencies that increased the bottom line. With his global managerial experience driving cross-functional strategic projects and deep technology and supply chain experience, Sirish is well positioned to lead and successfully grow Vanguard Supply Chain Solutions.
